Membership
Erie Independence House is a "membership" organization. As a member, one is part of a body of concerned citizens who focus their interest and support on meeting the needs of people with disabilities.
All members are encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting, held the third Tuesday of October each year. At this meeting, members receive an update on EIH programs and elect officers and directors to the governing board.
Members who wish to be more involved in EIH and contribute a particular skill or talent may seek election to the Board of Directors. Only EIH members are eligible for election to the Board. Regularly scheduled board meetings are open to all interested members.
Regardless of their individual levels of involvement, members of EIH can find satisfaction knowing they have shown support and concern for people with disabilities who desire to live as independent a lifestyle as possible.
